The Men's Cashmere and Wool Cricket Sweater

This elevated and contemporary take on the classic cricket jumper features a rich, double-layered v-neck collar, ribbed cuffs and hem, and a beautifully accented with a timeless navy stripe. Hand-knitted the traditional way using a perfectly balanced blend of cashmere and superfine lambswool by meticulous artisans in South Wales; this piece is hand-cabled in a process that takes many hours and anywhere up to three weeks to complete. Each row is hand-laid in a skill passed down over many generations, with needles picked up and repeatedly crossed over to create the definitive “cables” we adore. The blended wool provides the perfect balance, ensuring the piece is structured perfectly yet is still extremely soft and luxurious to the touch.

The Men's Cashmere and Wool Cricket Sweater

##Handmade in Wales

Founded in 1892, Corgi has been making its exquisite products for over 100 years. Hand-knitting machines that have been present since day one sit alongside 21st century tech on the workshop floor, combining the best of traditional making with modern innovation. The company continues to be family-owned, and is based in the same Welsh mining village where it was founded. You’ll notice all Corgi products come with a ‘made in Wales’ label, a nod to their pride of place and distinct heritage. They are committed to quality, craft and design above anything- so it’s no wonder they were given a Royal Warrant in 1989.

Craftsmanship

##We create the softest cashmere products by acquiring the rare, finest grade (Grade A) fibres from the underbellies of Mongolian goats. Due to the dramatic fluctuation in temperatures on the vast plains of Mongolia, Hircus goats have developed a beautiful, downy under-fleece. Cashmere acquired from Hircus goats is fine in texture, strong, light and soft. It provides excellent insulation and simply lasts longer without shedding or piling, due to the longer strands of hair Hircus goats develop on the hardy Mongolian plains.
