Montegranaro has become synonymous with impeccable quality in men's shoes, with the first cobbler's in the area dating as far back as the 14th century. Though it was only in the latter half of the 20th century that it became world renowned for excellence in the industry, local artisans are firmly rooted in traditional methods of making honed over centuries.
