Currently led by the granddaughter of the founder, it was clear from our first interaction that this team of masters fully understood our raison d'etre at Archibald and relished an opportunity to work with us and allow more people to experience the difference their expertise and craft can make in terms of end-product.

With that in mind, a buttery soft, very special, unlined Italian Suede has been sourced especially for these loafers. This particular suede, sourced from an infamous tannery in Montegranaro, Italy makes all the difference. The search for the right skin to realise the feel we wanted for these loafers was a long, arduous affair and facilitated by a little birdy who pointed us to a supplier of perhaps Italy's most desired high-luxury house. The unlined suede upper promises a unique blend of comfort, protection, and longevity from the moment you wear them. It is almost cooling in a way difficult to describe as the softer leather acclimates to your foot almost immediately and provides an unparalleled level of comfort and quality that one would expect from an elevated classic such as this. The Italian-made Margom soles provide durable, light-footed wear, and the full-grain leather floorboard provides a strong base and foundation to ensure the upper can be in full use for as long as possible.
