The fifth generation of the Ghirlandina, stripped back further — less padding, a wider lace jacket, and smaller branding that gets out of the way of the leather. Hand-stitched in Mirandola, Italy, from soft Italian calfskin finished in anticato sienna, a hand-staining process that adds roughly 105 minutes of meticulous colouring per pair. The result is a patina with genuine depth: warm, slightly uneven, impossible to replicate by machine. Named after the Torre della Ghirlandina and conceived on a blistering summer night in Modena, the design stays true to the original philosophy — simple, classic, built to age well. Black Italian rubber soles give it a cleaner, sharper profile than the white-soled versions. Calfskin inner lining throughout. This style is no longer part of our core collection; remaining pairs are available through our Discontinued, Samples, and One-Offs offering. Should there be a discrepancy in the version cited, we will refund any difference owed.
