The SF-01 v3 Mid-top Sneakers in Full Vegetable Tan Calf Leather
Whilst developing the SF-01 v2, we searched far and wide across tanneries in the United Kingdom, France, and Italy for the very best full vegetable tanned white leathers in order to fulfil a promise we had made to the community - to create a sneaker with a full vegetable tanned white upper. What we found is an offering from a small, heritage tannery in Italy that was head and shoulders above the rest. A fully vegetable-tanned leather will never achieve the brilliant white colour that revived the classic minimalist sneaker, however offers something much different. This skin is slightly off-white and thus we have paired it with special undyed cotton laces.
The SF-01 v3 Mid-tops exhibit all the same learnings that went into the development of the low-tops through v1 and v2, all of which helped us achieve our goal to create the perfect minimalist sneaker on our third attempt. The mid-top silhouette is similar to the one used for our Goodyear mid-top sneaker range but with the same assembled construction used for our SF-01 v3 low-top range.

##A specially selected, uniquely soft, yet durable, fully vegetable-tanned Italian calfskin is meticulously hand-cut to form the upper, which is then stitched to the rubber sole.
The calfskin promises a unique blend of comfort, protection, and longevity from the moment you wear them. Vegetable-tanned leather is a beautiful thing and will form a unique patina over time that will almost tell the story of it's journey with you. The soft leather acclimates to your foot almost immediately and provides an unparalleled level of comfort and quality.
