Known as 'The gold of the Andes', vicuña is the finest animal fibre in the world and is 4-5 times softer to the touch than human hair. Only 1lb of hair is produced by an adult vicuña per year, making it extremely rare and heavily controlled by local authorities. This singularly special lightweight stole is meticulously woven in Biella, Italy by masters of fine-gauge knits.
