Sommelier Sole

The Sommelier is a lesser-known sister to “The Serena.” It is still a classic Margom product: sturdy and heavy, adding some weight to the shoe and creating a comfortable, reliable foundation. While Serena keeps a low, quiet profile, Sommelier adds more substance underfoot: a robust unit that gives the shoe a comfortable, dependable foundation.

Real rubber doesn't compress and spring like foam. Margom became the standard because it occupies a specific and difficult position: Italian-made, genuine rubber. Family-controlled quality, produced within the most concentrated footwear manufacturing geography in the world, at a price point that luxury brands can absorb without rationalizing. Important to point out: once broken in, it is difficult to find anything more comfortable.

The Sommelier leans into the reputation carried by genuine Italian natural rubber soles with extra body. It adds a reassuring weight and, once broken in, becomes remarkably comfortable; a sole you stop noticing because it simply supports you, and wears in rather than out. Aesthetically, it pairs incredibly well with our Arienzo loafers, but still lends the classic feel of sturdy Italian rubber to the sole.
