A low-top leather sneaker in black calfskin with a crisp white sole, hand-stitched in Mirandola, Italy, by a father-and-son workshop with over two centuries of shoemaking behind them. The upper is cut from soft, naturally tanned Italian calfskin — the same grade traditionally reserved for men's dress shoes — and finger-stitched to a springy rubber sole. Named after the Torre della Ghirlandina and conceived on a blistering summer night in Modena, the Ghirlandina v1 was our first attempt at a sneaker that didn't compromise on construction. This style is no longer part of our core collection; remaining pairs are available through our Discontinued, Samples, and One-Offs offering.
