##Handcrafted in Italy Our driving shoes are handcrafted in Montegranaro, in the Marche region of central Italy, by G.Bellesi, a master artisan with nearly half a century’s experience producing footwear for some of the world’s most well known luxury fashion brands. It's an intimate place, nestled in scenic hills a stone's throw from the Adriatic numbering just over 10,000 inhabitants. Montegranaro has become synonymous with impeccable quality in men's shoes, with the first cobbler's in the area dating as far back as the 14th century. Though it was only in the latter half of the 20th century that it became world renowned for excellence in the industry, local artisans are firmly rooted in traditional methods of making honed over centuries.

##Vegetable-tanned Italian calfskin sourced just five minutes away from our workshop Only the finest, first-pick, full-grain, vegetable-tanned Italian calfskin, sourced from one of Montegranaro’s most prestigious tanneries, is used to make our classic driving shoes. Best of all, this tannery is a short five minute walk from Germano's workshop, so he can always guarantee our driving shoes are made from the very best calfskin available. Using these superior materials helps us ensure our driving shoes offer supple flexibility alongside unparalleled comfort.
