The Classic Baseball Cap in Alcantara with Vicuña and Baby Cashmere Lining

We've taken the classic six-segment baseball cap and re-imagined it in an incredibly luxurious way. Handmade in Italy by masters, this cap features a shell constructed using Alcantara and an inner lining made from some of the finest fibers in the world, Vicuna blended with Baby Cashmere. It fastens on the rear with a suede strap and a brass buckle with palladium plating.

Handcrafted in Italy

Our caps are is handmade in Biella, at a family-owned facility specialising in all manners of hat making. This particular "cappellificio" as they are referred to in Italy, has been at it for almost three generations and undergoes a meticulous process to construct each of their pieces. A traditionally important role in Italian villages, the art of the hatmaker is an ancient, noble, and rare profession, which is typically handed down generations to ensure practice. Over the years, this hatmaker has amassed a network that allows them to source the finest fabrics necessary for the execution of their craft - from the finest British tweeds from the Shetland Islands to materials from some of Piedmont's most famous woolen mills.

##Vicuña is the rarest fibre in the world, with availability closely monitored by Peruvian authorities and the select few brands that offer it for sale. The process of transforming fibres into fabric starts with a tradition dating back to the ancient Incas, according to which individual strands are sorted carefully by hand. These fibres then arrive at our mill where they are woven into impeccable pieces by craftsmen, who pride themselves on the care and attention they dedicate to everything they produce. Material

##Our challenge was to find the best Italian craftsmen in the art of the hat The art of the hat-maker is an ancient, noble and rare profession, which has to be handed down over time, renewing it without ever losing the milestones of this art. To all this, we refuse to compromise on quality, which is why we source only the finest materials. Our buckles are made in brass in a factory next to Florence, then plated in Palladium and hand-stitched to the final product. The lining is sourced from the best Italian mills as well as the suede water-proof outer.
