##Handcrafted in Italy Finding the right craftsmen to work with on our footwear wasn’t an overnight process. After a thorough search that took us from Northampton in England to various Italian makers, we knew we had found the right workshop when we got to Mirandola in the Emilia Romagna region. Here, a dedicated father and son team make what are the finest shoes we have come across. We have requested no compromises are made and where others ask for a quick turnaround, we have done just the opposite. Our range of sneakers is the ultimate combination of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship; only the finest calfskin traditionally reserved for the best men's dress shoes or the highest grade of kangaroo leather is used for the upper, and finger-stitched to springy rubber soles. Comfort, class and durability. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

##A specially selected uniquely soft, yet durable, naturally tanned Italian calfskin is meticulously hand-cut to form the upper which is then stitched to the rubber sole. The calfskin promises a unique blend of comfort, protection and longevity from the moment you wear them. The soft leather acclimates to your foot almost immediately and provides an unparalleled level of comfort and quality.

White deerskin with a gum sole — the cleanest expression of the deerskin slides. The natural pebbled grain adds subtle texture to the white, and the warm gum French Lactae Hevea sole gives it a laid-back, vintage feel. Unlined.

The ULTRAlight-LV Slides in Pebbled Deerskin — inspired by our ultra (no pun intended) successful SF-01 ULTRALights in deerskin, the slides are an elevated take on classic comfort-inspired slip-ons. Handmade in Corridonia, Italy using the same ultra (sorry) luxurious Italian-sourced deerskin from our ULTRALights, the upper of this slip-on is stitched to an (also French-made) Lactae Hevea sole for supreme comfort. This pair is another example of the simple proposition on offer at Archibald — take a classic, functional silhouette, re-imagine it slightly, incorporate the finest materials and have it handmade by master craftsmen to ensure it is made to last.
