In our quest to offer the ultimate classics, we would be remiss not to try our hand at another one of the iconic silhouettes in sneaker history... For the court classic, we traveled back in time through archive after archive to understand precisely what made this silhouette so unique and timeless.
This is a special version of our extremely popular Court Classic sneakers made using Kudu Leather and beautiful suede trim. This version is mostly unlined and produces an incredible foot feel with direct contact to the unique Kudu leather that forms the upper. Kudu leather possesses remarkable strength and exhibits an elegant aging process, attributed to its flexible structure, inherent waxiness, and fiber density. While it may experience slight compression and stiffening over time, it maintains its luxurious yet supple texture, provided it is not subjected to prolonged periods of dryness. The upper is married to a French-made, ultra-luxurious, and lightweight Lactae Hevea sole using a strobel construction to produce an incredibly comfortable, flexible, and light sneaker. The shoe is finished with a unique and comfortable removable leather-lined insole made of coconut fibers.
