The Sommelier is the lesser-known sister to Margom's Serena — the same classic Italian genuine-rubber sole, but sturdier and heavier still. Where the Serena keeps low and quiet, the Sommelier adds more substance underfoot: a robust unit that gives the shoe a comfortable, dependable foundation.
Why we chose it
Real rubber doesn't compress and spring like foam; it sits firm, dense and ground-connected, and the Sommelier leans into that with extra body. It adds a reassuring weight and, once broken in, becomes remarkably comfortable — a sole you stop noticing because it simply supports you, and wears in rather than out.
It is a Margom standard for the usual reasons: Italian-made genuine rubber, family-controlled quality, produced within the world's most concentrated footwear-manufacturing district, at a level luxury makers can rely on.
