##Made in Vicenza, Italy An Italian alligator leather may seem like a bit of an oxymoron, but in our case it’s entirely accurate. Sourced from sustainable suppliers in Zimbabwe, where the production of alligator leather is a vitally expanding rural economy, our family-owned workshop based in Vicenza tans, dyes and treats their alligator leather entirely in-house. So careful are they with the provenance of their raw materials, that not only do they only source CITES adhering (that’s the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species to the uninitiated) materials, they themselves are licensed to award CITES certification to others. With almost half a century of knowledge on where to get the best of the best (in the best possible way) behind us, we’re quite confident our watch straps are simply unparalleled.

##For watch straps that stand the test of time, there’s only one type of leather that the luxury fashion houses favour. Alligator leather is known to be highly supple without sacrificing extreme durability, making it perfectly suited to constant wear on the wrist. Each watch strap has a unique scale formation, unlike smooth tanned leathers which have a more uniform appearance. A matt finish to the strap ensures a discreet yet markedly high-end fabric complements your watch.

##With the rise of the global illegal trade in animal skins and the ubiquity of replicas, it’s difficult to discern the real (and ethically sourced) thing... A genuine alligator leather article should be accompanied by CITES certification that allows you to trace the origin of your item back to the supplier, and tannery, where it was sourced.
